SJVN Limited targets 5000 MW power by 2022-23 in HP

Shimla, Sep 26 (UNI) The Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) Limited and the Himachal Pradesh government decided to increase the power potential of 5000 MW by 2022-23, as a 3,000 Mega Watt power project was in advance stage of construction in the state, Chairman and Managing Director of SJVNL Nand Lal said on Wednesday.

The SJVNL has envisaged Internal Growth Targets, of an installed capacity of 5000 MW by 2022-23, said Mr Lal, adding that the firm also targeted generation capacity of 12000 MW by 2030 and 25000 MW by 2040.
