Sixth phase of 'Telangana Ku Harithaharam' from Jun 20 : Minister

Hyderabad, Jun 6 (UNI) The sixth phase of the 'Telangana Ku Harithaharam' will begin from June 20, Environment and Forests Minister A Indrakaran Reddy said.
Holding a review meeting through a video conference with the Forest Department officials of all districts at Aranya Bhavan here on Saturday, the Minister sought from the officers district-wise measures taken on the objectives of the plantation to be planted during this year and also the condition of the old plants till date.
In the conference Ms R Shobha, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) explained the Minister that, so far, 151 crore plants were planted outside the forests and 30 crore were planted inside.
