Sixth 'All India Hindu Convention' commences

Panaji, Jun 14 (UNI) Sixth 'All India Hindu Convention' for establishing 'Hindu Nation' commenced in presence of saints and recital of 'mantras' (hymns) at Sree Ramnath Temple, Ramnathi, Ponda, around 30 km from here, in South Goa today.

Delivering her speech in the convention, Sadhwi Saraswati, president of Sanatan Dharma Prachar Seva Samiti of Chhindwada, Madhya Pradesh, said, ''Today Bharat is under attack from all directions. Efforts are being made to separate Kashmir from Bharat, stop Amarnath pilgrimage, Bharatmata-Gomata are being censured. Demands are being raised, in the independent Bharat to impose a ban on Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Sanatan Sanstha and
Hindu conventions. However, opposition should realise that no power in the nation can prevent Hindus from establishing the 'Hindu Nation'. If a ban was imposed on one Sanatan, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, several Sanatans will grow out of it. There is no such thing as saffron terrorism; saffron means dedicated life for the nation and dharma (religion).''

Speaking on the occasion, Yati Ma Chetananand Saraswati, national president of Hindu Swabhiman Matha, Uttar Pradesh, said, ''Only Hindu Dharma is Dharma of Humanity. Only if Hindu Dharma survives in the world, humanity will be protected. Whenever Hindu Dharma was attacked in the history, Hindus have
countered them by resisting with 'Kshatravrutti' (attitude of warrior). Hindu Dharma teaches how to counter attacks. Today also, several assaults are taking place on Hindu Dharma. To counter these assaults and protect Hindu Dharma, every Hindu will need to display bravery.''

Dr Charudatta Pingale, national guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, said, ''On one hand we say that the Constitution has given us equal rights; however, on the other hand, when Hindus are denied education on Dharma in schools, non-Hindus very much have that right. Today, it is only the Hindu temples that are taken over by the government, the wealth of the Hindu temples is being used for the social cause, but the places of worship of
other religions are never taken over by the government. Only Hindus are forced to follow Uniform Civil Code. Will Hindus ever get justice in such a democracy? The present day system of governance has miserably failed to protect Hindus and their motherland. Hence, Hindu Nation is the only remedy to all the problems. Establishing the Hindu Nation is not merely a thought for us, it is a Holy observance and come what may, by using our
constitutional rights we are going to accomplish it.''

The convention commenced by blowing a conch. The auspicious lamps were lit at the hands of Sadhwi Saraswati, Yati Ma Chetananand Saraswati, Dr Charudatta Pingale and Nandkumar Jadhav, dharmaprasarak of Sanatan Sanstha.

The convention is being attended by more than 538 representatives of more than 132 devout Hindu organisations from 21 states of Bharat, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

On this occasion, holy texts 'Lokatantra Me Faile Dushpravruttiyon Ke Viruddha Pratyaksh Karya' in Hindi and Marathi languages, sponsored by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.
