Sixteen sockets bombs found at Bhimpur, explosives experts on way to defuse them in Nadia

Nadia, Sep 20 (UNI) At least sixteen socket bombs, packed in two bags, have been detected in a bush on a field at Maidanpur area of Bhimpur in Nadia district, where bombs and explosives were used freely during formation of panchayat board at Bansberia last month, police investigating the matter said on Thursday.
Local people on Wednesday evening found two bags containing socket bombs and immediately informed the Bhimpur police station, which deputed some policemen during the night to keep an eye on the explosives.
Official sources said the bomb disposal squad has arrived on the spot for verification before defusing the explosives.
