Kanpur, June 16 (UNI) Six members of a family were killed while two others injured when a mud-laden dumper crashed into a roadside hatched house in Maharajpur area here.
The incident occurred here on Friday night, resulting in on the spot death of six labourers.
The labourers, natives of Fatehpur, were in Kanpur for earning their livelihood.
The deceased were identified as Kallu Quereshi (40), Waseem (25), his wife Yasmeen (23), Kareena(16), Suhana (14) and Saleeman (18).
The injured have been admitted to the hospital.
After the accident, the dumper's driver escaped from the spot.
