Sir Ganga Ram Hospital honours women staff

New Delhi, Mar 12 (UNI) Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Tuesday awarded women staff involved in cleanliness and hygiene-related work.

The awards were given over on the occasion of International Women's day, which is celebrated on March 8 every year across the World.
Every day there is a footfall of 20,000 to 25,000 in the hospital, despite that hospital's cleanliness and hygiene are appreciable, an official statement from the Hospital here said.
This initiative was being carried out by the IVF unit of the hospital and 110 women were honoured on this occasion.

India requests China for evacuation of nationals from Wuhan

New Delhi, Jan 28 (UNI) The Centre has extended screening of passengers with travel history from China to 13 more airports, taking the total to 20 even as the Ministry of External Affairs has made a formal request to China for facilitating evacuation of Indian nationals from Wuhan.
Major countries, including India, are planning to send aircraft to evacuate their nationals from Wuhan where more than 100 people have died and thousands infected after outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus. Indians and other foreigners are unable to leave the city after the Chinese government sealed off several cities, effectively trapping tens of millions of people, in an effort to contain the spread of the virus.
