Sinhgad Institutes records largest campus placements in Maharashtra

Pune, Sep 19 (UNI) Setting new benchmarks Sinhgad Institutes has recorded largest campus placement with 1223 students obtaining placements which include Cognizant, Accenture and Infosys.
A statement issued by college here on Wednesday stated that in a first, three IT Companies Infosys, Cognizant and Accenture have made an offer to 1223 Engineering students of Sinhgad Institutes. Cognizant gave offers to 269, Infosys to 289 and Accenture to 665 students. The packages offered are Rupees Rs 3.5 to 4 lakh Per Annum, the release stated.
Totally 1517 number of students appeared for the placement drive and 1223 students were selected after a stringent selection procedure comprising of written tests, technical and HR interview rounds, the release said.
