Kuala Lumpur, Jun 30 (UNI) India's hunt for the race to the final of the Malaysia Open came to an end after its star shuttlers PV Sindhu and kidambi Srikanth lost their semi-final match in their respective categories here on saturday.
Srikanth, who held no 1 spot in world ranking in April for a brief stint could not match the superiority of world no 11 Momota, was edged out 13-21, 13-21, while Sindhu's campaign also ended with a 15-21, 21-19, 11-21 defeat against the Chinese Taipei player Tai Tzu a match that lasted for 55-minute.
