Kuala Lumpur, Jan 10 (UNI) Ace Indian shuttlers PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal lost their respective quarter-final matches and crashed out of Malaysia Masters Super 500 badminton tournament, here on Friday.
PV Sindhu went down to Taiwanese shuttler Tai Tzu Ying in straight games 16-21, 16-21. Sindhu, seeded 6th, who was inconsistent at the start, failed to capitalize on her leads and eventually lost the first game 16-21 to hand a 1-0 advantage to Tzu Ying.
The second game was a one-sided affair for the most part, with Ying opening up a nine-point gap with Sindhu.
