New Delhi, Apr 26 (UNI) India's campaign ended at the Asia Badminton Championships after star shuttlers P V Sindhu, Saina Nehwal and unseeded Sameer Verma lost their respective singles matches in the quarter-final in Wuhan, China on Friday.
Sindhu ranked 4th was edged out 19-21, 21-9 by unseeded China's Cai Yanyan within a time period of 31 minutes progressing to semi-final of the tournament.
Earlier, in the tournament Saina's old rival and third seed Akane Yamaguchi of Japan defeated the Indian 21-13, 21-23, 21-16 to reach the semi-final.
