Sikkim relaxes entry norms for Tourists from 27th Sept to 4th Oct

Gangtok, Sept 25 (UNI) It's time to be happy for the Tourists coming to Sikkim now as the checking and verification of COVID19 Vaccination & RT-PCR negative documents will not be done at the entry points. Those coming to Sikkim now will not be stopped at Melli for entry to South & West Sikkim and same will be applicable for Rangpo, the entry point for East & North Sikkim.
The Principal Secretary Home Department ,R Telang has issued an order passing on the responsibility of verification of Vaccination Certificates or 72 hours RTPCR Test papers ,from Checkpost Cops to Hotel authorities.The Hoteliers will make sure their guests come properly vaccinated with 2 doses, if not then at least a dose with RTPCR negative report 72 hours prior to reaching. This has been introduced keeping in view declining trend of Pandemic, here .
