Siemens brings the future of Intelligent Home Living to Pune

Pune, July 15 ( UNI) BSH Home Appliances Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH and a global leader in premium home appliances, on Wednesday announced the opening of its exclusive Siemens Brand Store in Pune in partnership with Cheryl Enterprises Private Limited.
Located at Solitaire Business Hub-1, Baner, the new Brand Store brings Siemens' vision of intelligent living to Pune through an immersive destination where meaningful innovation, connected technologies and sophisticated design come together to redefine the modern kitchen.
More than a retail space, it enables homeowners, architects and designers to experience how intelligent appliances work together as an integrated ecosystem, anticipating needs, simplifying everyday routines and creating enriching experiences that elevate everyday living, a release stated.
Pune has emerged as one of India's most progressive home markets, recording over 4.28 lakh homes sold between 2021 and 2025, the highest residential sales in the country during the period. Nearly half of all new residential launches are now concentrated in the premium and luxury segments, reflecting changing consumer aspirations and increasing investment in thoughtfully designed homes.
As homeowners increasingly embrace modular kitchens and connected living, kitchens are evolving from functional spaces into intelligent environments where architecture, technology and everyday experiences come together seamlessly. This transformation is positioning Pune among India's fastest-growing markets for built-in and integrated home solutions.
This transformation is being driven not only by new homebuyers but also by a growing segment of existing homeowners undertaking premium kitchen renovations and upgrading to integrated appliance solutions. Demand is particularly strong among young professionals, dual-income households, NRIs and affluent homebuyers, who are seeking appliances that combine intelligent technology with sophisticated design.
Consumers are also placing greater emphasis on energy and water efficiency, making premium built-in appliances an increasingly attractive choice. At the same time, the preference for clean, minimalist kitchen aesthetics is accelerating the adoption of seamlessly integrated appliances that blend effortlessly with contemporary cabinetry, reflecting a broader shift towards design-led, future-ready homes.
This evolution is also reflected in Siemens' own portfolio performance in Pune. The cooking category has emerged as the brand's strongest-performing category, contributing nearly 60% of overall sales in 2025, with ovens accounting for more than half of category demand. Dishwashers continue to witness strong consumer traction, while the cooling portfolio has registered significant momentum in the first half of 2026, reflecting consumers' growing preference for complete kitchen ecosystems over standalone appliances.
BSH aims to have 40 Siemens stores across the country by the end of this year.
Commenting on the launch, Saif Khan, MD and CEO, BSH Home Appliances India, said, "Pune is emerging as one of India's most important premium home appliance markets, driven by rapid premium housing growth and changing consumer aspirations. We are seeing particularly strong momentum in categories such as dishwashers, front load washing machines and premium cooking category, with dishwasher volumes in Pune growing by nearly 65% this year."
