Moga, Jul 23 (UNI) Newly-appointed Punjab Congress president Navjot Singh Sidhu, along with two state cabinet ministers, visited civil hospital and a private hospital to enquire about the health of Congress workers who sustained injuries in a road mishap in Moga the morning.
Sidhu, accompanied by cabinet ministers Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria, announced grant of Rs 50,000 each to the injured and also to bear the expenses of their treatment by the state government.
Later, the cricketer-turned-politician left for Zira along with two ministers and visited the families of deceased, including mini bus driver Virsa Singh and Congress worker Vicky Singh.
