Vijayapura, Oct 25 (UNI) Congress leader Siddaramaiah's 'JDF' jibe at Janata Dal Secular leader HD Kumaraswamy has triggered a tug-of-war between the two leaders, who are sweating it out to hold afloat their prestige in the run-up to Karnataka bypolls scheduled on October 30.
While Siddaramaiah asked former PM HD Deve Gowda and sons to change the name of their party from Janata Dal Secular (JDS) to Janata Dal Family (JDF), Kumaraswamy suggested changing Congress party's to Congress (F).
Campaigning at Sindagi, Siddaramaiah said, "The father, son and grandsons are camping here. It is better that they should change their party's name to JDF from JDS."
