Siddaramaiah retorts to Chief Minister Kumaraswamy's statement on Kharge

Bengaluru, May 16 (UNI) In an attempt rebuff to the statement of the Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy that Mallikarjuna Kharge could become the chief minister of the state, the Congress Legislature party (CLP) leader and former Chief minister Siddaramaiah retorted that the JD(S) leader and the Public Works minister H D Revanna also can become top runner for the Chief minister's post, but right time has to come.

In a tweeter message, Siddaramaiah, had stated that What Kumaraswamy had said on Mallikarjuna Kharge is true, he (Kharge) is deserve not only for the post of the Chief minister, but also for higher than the post.

"There are many leaders both in the Congress and the JD(S) who are chief minister material and one of them is Kumaraswamy’s brother H D Revanna".

For everything right time should come, Siddaramaiah posted his opinion on the Tweeter, which had gone viral.

It may be recalled that in a public meeting, at Chincholi, on Tuesday, Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy had expressed sympathy on the Senor Congress leader Mallikarjuna Kharge and had said that "Kharge should have become the chief minister of the state, and had missed it in many times".

Chief minister's remark had invited sharp reaction from the BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa, and had challenged Kumaraswamy to vacate his post and make way for Kharge.
