Bengaluru, Jun 4 (UNI) Former chief minister and senior Congress leader Siddaramaiah have appealed the chief minister BS Yediyurappa to tread cautiously before deciding to re-open schools in the state.
In a Twitter message, Siddaramaiah, who is also Opposition leader in the Karnataka Assembly, has advised the chief minister not to show any hurry on re-opening of the schools, following the lifting of nation-wide lockdown against the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Stating that even parents are against the opening of the schools at this juncture, he said ‘it would be good if the state government would wait for another two months to open”.
