SI arrested in connection with murder of Taekwondo player

Jaunpur (UP), Nov 2 (UNI) A Sub-Inspector (SI) was arrested by the police on Saturday in connection with the murder of the taekwondo player in Gura Badshahpur area of Jaunpur district in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here.
Police sources said the investigation and inquiry made it clear that SI Rajesh Yadav was in touch with the accused at the crime scene several times a day before and after the incident. "His role in the murder is that of a conspirator," they said..
Police sources said that on October 30 taekwondo player Anurag Yadav alias Chotu was attacked by his neighbours over a land dispute and was beheaded with a sword. "The family members had lodged a case against five persons, including Lalta Prasad Yadav, his son Ramesh Yadav, and SI Rajesh Yadav, who is posted at Mawana police station in Meerut," they said.
