Shukla’s 8-for puts Services on top; big tons mark Ranji Day 2

New Delhi, Nov 17 (UNI) Services pacer Amit Shukla delivered a decisive spell to rip through Haryana with a magnificent eight-wicket haul, turning the contest sharply in his team’s favour on day two of their Ranji Trophy game on Monday.
Resuming at a fragile 20/5, Haryana folded for 111 under unrelenting pressure from Shukla, who maintained discipline and movement throughout a spell that defined the day’s proceedings. Services finished at 122/4 in their second innings, stretching their lead to a robust 216.
While Shukla owned the spotlight among bowlers, the day also showcased a flurry of batting fireworks across the country.
