Short film 'Mauka' bags International Award of Excellence at Jakarta

New Delhi, Sep 11 (UNI) A five minutes short film, 'Mauka' (the chance), directed by Rajesh K Rathi has been chosen for the prestigious “International Award of Excellence” at International Film Festival for Peace, Inspiration & Equality (IFFPIE) at Jakarta, Indonesia. Amid several international films, this is the only Indian film to bag this award, a statement said here. The film produced by Keshav Rai & Brijesh Khandelwal comes with the tag line : ‘A moment can change your life !’ The film was also officially selected and screened in the 5th Kolkata Shorts International Film Festival and Acharya Tulsi Short Film Festival at Bikaner earlier. With this achievement, Mr Rathi, known for his English Feature Film ‘Desires of the Heart’ which won Best Foreign Film Award in LA Femme International Film Festival’2013 and premiered in March-Du-Film in Cannes’2014, had added one more feather in his cap.
