Shopkeepers protest against increasing theft cases

Kaithal, Jan 9 (UNI) The shopkeepers to protest against increasing cases of thefts in the town on Wednesday.
The protesters shouted slogans against the police and demanded immediate arrest of those involved in incidents of thefts resulting in to a sense of insecurity among residents.
The agitated shopkeepers expressed their strong resentment and pointed that the thieves broke open a mobile shop opposite local PWD rest house on busy Ambala road on Tuesday and stole mobile phones worth Rs 10 lakhs and Rs 15 lakh cash. Earlier on January 1 night the thieves committed burglary in 9 shops in Bhagat Singh Chowk and chandana gate area.
