Mandsaur, MP, Oct 23 (UNI) The clash of the titans continues in Madhya Pradesh with Congress state President Kamal Nath on Friday accusing Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan of disseminating untruth in order to derive electoral mileage.
“Mr Chouhan labels me an industrialist. It is being alleged that I contributed naught to the state while the reality is that I provided substantial funds for roads and other development schemes in my capacity as central minister. In fact, saffron camp bigwigs would express gratitude. I am prepared for an open debate on Bharatiya Janata Party reign contrasted with Congress rule. The Centre’s recent agrarian sector-related legislation is anti-farmer and will not be implemented in this state after my party returns to the saddle,” the erstwhile chief minister averred while addressing a rally at Shamgarh within Mandsaur District’s Suwasra Assembly constituency.
