Thane, Nov 18 (UNI) Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray is barely a week away from performing a pooja in Ayodhya, the city which is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Ram.
The performance of pooja, which is scheduled for November 25,will apparently be a dynamic event as the party workers are busy doing mega preparations so that the event reverberates across the nation.
Around 2000 Sainiks apart from citizens are expected to leave for Ayodhya on November 22 so as to give a grand welcome to Udhhav Thackeray and also be a part of the religious musings.
The chief strategy to freeze the event in the frame of history is that when Uddhav Thackeray will perform pooja in Ayodhya,at the very same moment lakhs of Shiv sainiks have planned to assemble in the Ram mandir in every city and perform pooja in tandem with the Sena pramukh.
At around 10:00 hrs on November 25,Uddhav Thackeray is scheduled to perform the pooja at the Temple, simultaneously the Sainiks will perform pooja in their respective towns and cities besides villages. If there is no Ram Temple available in the place,an idol of Lord Ram will be installed for the purpose of pooja.
State Public Works Department(PWD) Minister Ekanth Shinde is overseeing the management of the event. He said that,"Ayodhya will be coloured saffron as thousands of Sainiks will chant the slogans of Jai Sri Ram on November 24 and 25."
Terming it a 'historical rally',Mr Shinde on behalf of Shiv Sena has appealed to the North Indian Shiv Sainiks living in Mumbai and other parts of the state to contribute in making the event successful and pour into Ayodhya in large numbers.
"The conclave of the VHP and the RSS scheduled on November 25 in Ayodhya will in no way affect on the programme of the Shiv Sena,"asserted Mr Shinde.
