Shiv Sena lauds RSS's 'new stand'

Mumbai, Feb 23 (UNI) The Shiv Sena on Saturday lauded the 'new stand' of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to temporarily put the Ram Mandir issue on the back-burner and give 'priority' to Kashmir in the wake of the Pulwama terror attack and said it fits the current narrative in the country.
The Sangh’s changed approach in a way suits the country given the proposed mega alliance of the Congress and other parties that would never provide stability and bring peace in the country, the Sena said in an editorial in the party mouthpiece "Saamana" here.
While appreciating the stand of the Sangh to keep the Ram temple issue aside for time being and give attention to issues like Pulwama and Kashmir, it said the RSS also feels that the country needs a strong and a stable government to solve problems in Kashmir.
