Shinde pays tribute to BJP MLA Rajendra Patni

Mumbai, Feb 23 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Friday paid tributes to BJP MLA from Karanja Rajendra Patni, expressing sadness at his untimely demise.
While working as a member of Legislative Assembly, Patni was interested in development of Washim district and the Karanja constituency, he said in his condolence message.
Patni will always be remembered as a calm, restrained leader, who was obsessed with development, Shinde added.

Pune, Apr 23 (UNI) Day temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1°C or more) at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over Bihar, Telangana, Kerala and Mahe and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at most places over Assam and Meghalaya; at many places over Arunachal Pradesh; at a few places over Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam; at isolated places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, east Uttar Pradesh and coastal Karnataka. These were appreciably below normal (-3.1°C to -5.0°C) at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh; below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at isolated places over Uttarakhand, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat state and near normal over rest parts of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 43.8°C was reported at Cuddapah (Rayalaseema) and Bhubaneshwar (Odisha) over the country.
