Shimla town turns police fortress for Budget session starting Feb 16

Shimla, Feb 14 (UNI) Security arrangements have been tightened across Shimla ahead of the budget session of the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha beginning February 16, with the district administration dividing the town into five sectors to ensure foolproof law and order.
Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap chaired a high-level meeting to review preparedness and directed all departments to maintain close coordination with the police to prevent any disruption during the Assembly proceedings.
He emphasized that sector officers must remain vigilant and ensure smooth conduct of the session.

Prayagraj, Mar 8(UNI) Ashutosh Brahmachari, who filed a case of sexual harassment in the court against Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati in Prayagraj, was attacked on Sunday early morning.
Ashutosh Maharaj was coming to Prayagraj by Rewa Express train. The attack took place between Fatehpur and Sirathu railway station of Kaushambi district.
