Shia ulemas give slogan of one for community and one for country

Lucknow, Sep 25 (UNI) The international congregation of Shia ulema (clerics) have given a slogan, 'One for community and one for country', aiming to remove anomalies regarding talaq or divorce and making the students patriots.
"The debate over triple talaq issue is raging across the nation. In Shia sect, there is no place triple talaq. Divorce can be taken in the presence of three clerics," Maulana Saif Abbas said during the congregation held at the inauguration of Madarsa-e-Abutalib here yesterday.
He stated that under ‘one for community, one for country’, a resolution was passed that all the Shia clerics, who came from different parts of the country, should ensure removal of anomalies regarding divorce in the community.
