SHG women add festive cheer with mehndi at police stations on Karwa Chauth

Lucknow, Oct 10 (UNI) In a heartwarming gesture on the occasion of Karwa Chauth, women from self-help groups (SHGs) brought festive cheer to police stations across Lucknow.
Today, Under the Mission Shakti campaign, members of an NGO applied beautiful mehndi designs on the hands of female police personnel on duty. Family members of the police staff were also present to share in the celebration.
One such vibrant scene was witnessed at the Mohanlalganj police station, where the Mehndi Swavalamban Camp was organized. The event was jointly conducted by the Lucknow Women Welfare Department and Jananayak Sujeet Pandey Memorial Trust, featuring SHG women trained by the organizations.

ED searches Phagwara export firm for suspected FEMA breaches, recovers cash and papers

Jayant Chaudhary re-elected as National President at Rashtriya Lok Dal convention
