Patna, Dec 30 (UNI) The year 2018 will enter into the annals of Bihar’s history as one of the most happening periods for the state.

The year witnessed expose of sexual abuse of minor girls at Muzaffarpur`s short stay home, aggressive posturing by ruling JD (U) and BJP following conviction of RJD chief Lalu Prasad in fodder scam case, communal flare ups in Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur and Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) chief and former union minister Upendra Kushwaha shifting his loyalty to grand alliance after quitting NDA.

On one hand, the official residence of RJD chief Mr Prasad presented a deserted look even on the first day of 2018 (January 01) following his incarceration in a Ranchi based jailed due to his conviction in fodder scam, JD (U) and BJP lapping the opportunity intensified their attack on Mr Prasad and his family members.

Senior BJP leader and deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi taking forward his party`s resolve of ‘Congress-mukta Bharat’ affirmed that people of the state would soon get rid of ‘lantern’ (RJD`s election symbol).

Going one step further, Mr Modi also accused RJD chief Mr Prasad of being a habitual criminal and a regular visitor to jail adding that RJD chief amassed benami properties worth crores of rupees even after his first conviction in the fodder scam.
