Sheila takes charge as Delhi Cong chief, says focus will be to strengthen party in state

New Delhi, Jan 16(UNI) Senior Congress leader and three time Delhi Chief Minister on Wednesday officially took over the charge as president of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee here in presence of veteran Congress leaders.
Addressing reporters after taking over as DPCC chief at Rajiv Bhawan, Ms Dikshit said that her focus this time will be to strengthen the party in Delhi..
Ms Dikshit who was appointed as the Delhi unit chief by Congress President Rahul Gandhi as Mr Ajay Maken resigned from the position due to health issues, while three Congress leaders from Delhi - Haroon Yusuf, Devendra Yadav and Rajesh Lilothia - were appointed Working Presidents to her, has made her comeback to Delhi politics after five years.
