Sheila Dikshit announces names of district & block Congress committee observers

New Delhi, Jul 12 (UNI) Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) president Sheila Dikshit on Friday announced the names of 14 District Congress Committee observers and 280 Block Congress Committee observers.
The names of probable candidates for the posts of presidents of the 280 Block Congress Committees were announced after they had been dissolved by the DPCC president, on the suggestion of the five-member committee constituted by Ms Dikshit to go into the reasons for the defeat of the Congress candidates in the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi.

The observers will interact with former MPs, MLAs, Municipal Councillors (past and present), senior leaders and grass-root level workers before suggesting the probable names for the posts of Block Congress Committees within 10 days.
