Vijayawada, Feb 10 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party national president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that Y S Sharimila, younger sister of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, was a victim of yet another treachery of her brother.
Ms Sharmila on Monday hinted in Hyderabad of launching a new regional party in Telangana.
'This time, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has not hesitated to cheat his own sister, on which he owed an answer to the public. Mr Jagan Reddy gives elaborate lectures on credibility, but when it comes to his sister, he is not practising the same.
'The Chief Minister should explain why the arrow he released was now turning against him. 'Jagananna vadilina banam' (arrow released by Jagan is Sharmila) was now going in a reverse mode,' Mr Naidu ridiculed.
He said that it was not by credibility, but by using such total lies and deception against his family members and against the people of Andhra Pradesh that Mr Reddy came to power in 2019.
At that time, Mr Reddy demanded CBI inquiry into the murder of his own uncle Vivekananda Reddy but after coming to power, he said there was no need for the CBI probe, Mr Naidu claimed.
He said it was only after Viveka's daughter went to the court that the murder case was handed over to CBI.
Viveka's daughter had a right to know who the culprits in the murder were. Chief Minister Jagan Reddy should answer this and explain whether or not he was repeatedly going to Delhi to get relief for the accomplices from the CBI probe, Mr Naidu alleged.
