Sharmila seeks Telangana Guv's intervention over recent attack on her convoy

Hyderabad, Dec 1 (UNI) YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP) Chief Y S Sharmila Reddy on Thursday sought Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan’s immediate attention and intervention over the recent attack on her convoy and also on party workers allegedly by the ruling TRS supporters during her ongoing padayatra in Warangal.
Sharmila was granted bail by a city court, following her arrest by the police on November 29, for marching towards Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's official residence Pragathi Bhavan here to protest against the alleged attack on her convoy by the ruling TRS cadre during her ongoing padayatra in Warangal.
In her representation submitted to the Governor at Raj Bhavan here, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s sister Sharmila said there is a possible ‘threat’ to the lives of our committed party workers, and continued attacks on our padayatra.
