Sharad Pawar condoles death of Dr Swaminathan

Mumbai, Sep 28 (UNI) NCP national president and Rajya Sabha MP, Sharad Pawar, on Thursday expressed grief over the death of well-known agricultural scientist and surveyor of Swaminathan Reasearch Foundation Dr M S Swaminathan.
In a condolence message on his social media handle X, he stated that the remarkable work of well-known persons working in a particular field is forever associated with their name.
"While it is true that Dr Swaminathan is the father of the Green Agricultural Revolution, this was the pinnacle of his achievements, but his reputation seemed to have been enhanced by his spectacular achievements in many other fields.
