Shankaracharya slams Godse worshippers

Narsinghpur, MP, Dec 8 (UNI) Jyotish and Dwarka Sharda Peeth Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati averred on Sunday that Hindus are attracting disrepute owing to those glorifying Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin Nathuram Vinayak Godse.
“A Ram temple had existed in Ayodhya but subsequently attempts were made to destroy even evidence of its existence. The image being created of Hindus is inaccurate. In reality, we trace our identity back to Adi Shankaracharya,” the monk said while addressing the Mata Girjadevi Mahotsav in Bagaspur.

COVID-19: J&K reports 1217 new cases, 20 deaths
