New Delhi, Feb 16 (UNI) A group of women, who were protesting against the Anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) at Shaheen Bagh and went to meet Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday, were stopped mid-way by the police, as they did not seek prior appointment from the Union Minister, for the meeting.
According to police, the agitators, who had started their march at around 1400 hrs, did not have permission for either the protest march, or to meet the Union Minister.
The protesters were told that their application for a meeting had been sent to the Home Minister, they added.
