Shah pays tribute to Veer Savarkar on his 137th anniversary

New Delhi, May 28 (UNI) Paying rich tribute to the freedom fighter Veer Savarkar, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday said that there was hardly anyone like Savarkar in the world who had suffered so much for the country.

Taking to twitter, Mr Shah said “He also fought against untouchability and struggle hard for the entry of Dalits in the Temples”.

“With his aristocratic patriotism,Veer Savarkar is not just a name but it became a mantra for the patriotism. He strongly advocated for the integrity of India and his principal mantra was one nation one culture. His struggle for the independence of India and love for nation is a source of inspiration for all Indians”, he said in his tweet message.
