Seven Police Officers in West Bengal named recipients of Union Home Ministry awards for 2020

Kolkata, Aug 14 (UNI) Kolkata Police and West Bengal Police have congratulated their seven officers - 3 Police Inspectors and 4 Sub-Inspectors- for being awarded by the Union Home ministry for their outstanding services for 2020." Seven officers from West Bengal and Kolkata Police featured in the coveted list of awardees announced ( by the union home ministry).
"The efficiency with which West Bengal and Kolkata Police have been solving cases and securing convictions again gets recognised," Kolkata Police said in its Twitter post.
" The awardees from West Bengal Police are Inspr Subir Karmakar, Inspr Bijay Kumar Yadav, Sub-Inspr Supriya Bannerjee, Sub-Inspr Pradip Paul andLady Sub-Inspr Barnali Sarkar along with Inspr Shukla Sinha Ray and Inspr Shri Denis Anup Lakra from Kolkata Police."" The ministry of home affairs, Govt of India recognises the good work being done by the police in West Bengal. Seven officers awarded by Union Home Minister’s Award for excellence in investigation 2020. It is a moment of great pride for West Bengal Police."Besides, two senior IPS officers are being awarded chief minister medals for commendable services in 2020.
