Seven Maoists killed in a Police encounter in Mulugu District, Telangana

Mulugu (Telangana)Dec 1 (UNI) Seven Maoists were killed in a police encounter in the Pulakkom forest area of Mulugu district early on Sunday morning.
The encounter occurred as part of intensified patrolling by the Mulugu District Police during the Maoists PLGA (People’s Liberation of Guerrilla Army) week celebrations to prevent incidents of violence.
In a statement, Mulugu District Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr P Shabarish disclosed that the patrolling was conducted in response to the recent killing of two innocent tribals, Uyake Ramesh and Uyake Arjun, by Maoists in Penugolu Colony, Wajedu Mandal, on November 23, 2024.
