Seven including Kaithal jail superintendent booked in suspended jail warden's suicide case

Jind, Mar 28 (UNI) Seven police officials including Kaithal jail superintendent have been booked in a suspended jail warden's suicide case, police said on Tuesday.
According to Jind Civil Lines police, Suresh Kumar, a resident of Ram colony here committed suicide on March 13. He was posted as a warden in Kaithal jail and was suspended last year allegedly smuggling drugs in jail. His family members have alleged that he was trapped in a false case. In his suicide note, Suresh Kumar had named jail officials.
Police has filed a case of abetment to suicide against Kaithal jail superintendent Sanjay Bangad, DTP Surender Gurjar, LO Suresh Kumar, jail warden Jasveer, Karmveer, Baljeet and Shailendra on the complaint of Suresh's wife Pinky. Further investigation was on, police added.
