Separatist commander killed in Cameroon's restive Anglophone region

Yaounde, June 14 UNI) The Cameroonian army announced Friday that its troops have killed a separatist commander in the country's war-torn English-speaking region of Southwest.
The commander, who referred to himself as "general black bat," was killed after the military launched an offensive in Boa Bakundu locality of the region late Thursday.
"Black bat" was commanding a "dangerous" group of fighters in the region and was responsible for the death of several civilians and soldiers, the army said.
