Mumbai, Aug 24 (UNI) The BSE sensex remained strong for the third straight session today as it advanced by 105 points at 31,673.44 as brisk buying was witnessed in Materials, Consumer Discterionary Goods and Services, FMCG, Energy and Industrial stocks. The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) rose by 29 points to 9,881.20. The equity market kept its surging trend intact today as sectoral indices like Materials, Consumer Discterionary Goods and Services, FMCG, Energy and Industrial stocks were in green. The gaainers were Lupin by 2.62 pc to Rs 679.80, Infosys by 2 pc to Rs 912.40, Sun Pharma by 1.57 pc to Rs 476.10, Powergrid by 1.65 pc to Rs 221.60 and Tata Motors by 0.32 pc to Rs 383.60. The losers were Adani Ports by 1.36 pc to Rs 379.80, Bajaj Auto by 0.91 pc to Rs 2735.30 and HDFC by 0.79 pc to Rs 1748.85. UNI NV
