Sensex recovers 200 pts

Sensex recovers 200 pts

Mumbai, Aug 14 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Friday recovered by 200 pts at 38,511.42 in the opening session, on fresh buying in Health Care, Industrials, Energy and Realty stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange too rose by 47.65 pts to 11,348.10.
The sectoral indices include, Health Care, Industrials, Realty and Energy stocks pushed the Sensex up in early trade.
The Sensex registered intraday high and low at 38,540.57 and 38,392.14 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered intraday high and low at 11,361.40 and 11,329.05 respectively.
The Mid Cap moved up by 0.20 pc and Small Cap by 0.61 pc.
In 30 scrips, 22 advanced while 8 declined.
The gainers were L& T by 1.82 pc to Rs 1008.55, Sun Pharma by 1.70 pc to Rs 529.65, Reliance Industries by 1.31 pc to Rs 2150, Ultracemco by 0.89 pc to Rs 4083.35 and Asian Paints by 0.89 pc to Rs 1818.20.
The losers were HCL Technologies by 0.85 pc to Rs 719.30, Powergrid by 0.73 pc to Rs 177.45, ONGC by 0.64 pc to Rs 78.10 and Maruti Suzuki by 0.35 pc to Rs 6706.65.
