Sensex opened higher by 72 pts on Muhurat trading

Mumbai, Oct 19 (UNI) The new Samvat 2074 for Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) started on a positive note, as the sensex rose by 72 points to 32.656.75.
While Nifty of National Stock Exchange opened on a flat note at 10,210.35.
A special Muhurat trading session on Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange tomorrow for an hour between 1830 hrs and 1930 hrs, the stock exchanges said.
The sectoral indices inreased were Consumer Durable, Energy and Industrials. Even, scrips like Bharti Airtel, Reliance Industries and Lupin boosted the same.
At the moment, the sensex was down by 41.82 points to 32,542.53 while Nifty was trading at 10,195.30, sliding by 15.55 ponits.
