Sensex drops 90 points

Mumbai, Oct 20 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Wednesday lost further by 90 points at 61,625.83 in early trade as selling was seen in Materials, Energy and Health Care stocks.
The Nifty too eased by 25.95 points at 18,392.80.
Though, the Sensex opened a new high, at 61.800, up by 84 points, it immediately went in red as selling was seen in Materials, Energy and Health Care stocks.
The sensex registered days high and low at 61,872.70 and 61,489.69 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded days high and low at 18,458.20 and 18,326.95 points.

The Mid Cap declined by 0.73 per cent and Small Cap by 1.34 per cent.
In 30 scrips, 11 advanced while 19 declined.
The losers were Bajaj Finserv by 1.28 per cent to Rs 18,810.46, HDFC Bank by 0.88 per cent to Rs 1,674.05, Bajaj Auto by 0.87 per cent to Rs 3877.40 and IndusInd Bank by 0.85 per cent to Rs 1,184.30.
The gainers were Bharti Airtel by 2.97 per cent to Rs 701.20, Nestle India by 1.97 per cent to Rs 19,752, SBI by 1.17 per cent to Rs 494.15 and HCL Technology by 0.91 per cent to Rs 1243.
