Sensex down by 509.04 pts

Mumbai, Sep 11 (UNI) The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday slumped another 509.04 points to settle at 37,413.13, the biggest single day fall since March 16,2018, as the rupee hit a new record low of 72.72 till noon trade amidst fear of escalation in US-China tariff dispute that continued to haunt investors in broader Asian Market.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) dropped by 150.60 points at 11,287.50.
The Sensex registered the day's high and low at 38,043.27 and 37,361.20 points respectively.
The Nifty registered day's high and low at 11,479.40 and 11,274 points, respectively.
