Seminar on 'Opportunities in Defence and Aerospace for the Industry' held

Hyderabad, Jun 22 (UNI) Confederation of Indian Industry in partnership with the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM) organized a seminar on 'Opportunities in Defence and Aerospace for the Industry' here on Friday.
Speaking at the opening session of the Seminar, Lt Gen Subrata Saha, PVS, UYSM, YSM, VSM (Retd), Director General, SIDM, gave a brief snapshot of the current scenario across the world with reference to Security.
He mentioned that both Nationally and Internationally we are seeing more and more challenges with respect to security, and with these increasing number or challenges, there is an increase in the expectations as we are moving into the future. The component of Defence, in various bilateral meetings of the government in the recent past, has been taking precedence, Gen Saha said.
