Seeman should withdraw statement against Rajiv Gandhi: Narayanasamy

Puducherry, Oct 16 (UNI) Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy on Wednesday demanded that Naam Tamizhar Katchi (NTK) leader Seeman should withdraw his statement against former AICC president and former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
Talking to mediapersons here on the sidelines of election campaign for the October 21 assembly by-election for Kamaraj Nagar constituency, the Chief Minister said that Mr Seeman should also tender an open apology, failing which the Congress cadres will organise agitation against him when he visit Puducherry later in the day.
Mr Seeman's statement, belittling the former Prime Minister who sacrificed his life to eradicate terrorism, could not be accepted, Mr Narayanasamy added.
