Security forces arrest insurgent cadres, drug peddlers in separate operations in Manipur

Imphal, Oct 8 (UNI) Security forces and Manipur Police have intensified their operations against insurgent elements and drug traffickers across the state, leading to multiple arrests yesterday.
Security forces arrested an active member of a proscribed group from Kongpal Khaidem Leikai under Porompat Police Station, Imphal East district. The individual was apprehended along with a mobile phone was seized from his possession.
In a separate operation, Manipur Police arrested another active member of a banned outfit involved in extortion activities from his residence at Kwakeithel Kongjeng Leikai under Singjamei Police Station, Imphal West district. A mobile phone and an Aadhaar card were recovered from him.

Tejashwi will struggle to get status of leader of opposition in assembly: BJP

Patna, Nov 12 (UNI) BJP on Wednesdayay said NDA would surpass the number of seats the exit polls have predicted for the coalition in the Bihar assembly polls and RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav would struggle to get even the status of the Leader of the Opposition.
National spokesman of BJP Shahnawaz Hussain, while reacting to Tejashwi's statement rejecting the findings of various exit polls, said it was surprising that a scientific analysis of agencies was rejected by the RJD leader whose credibility was nowhere, he remarked.
