New Delhi, Apr 7 (UNI) As the second week of nationwide lockdown to arrest the spread of Covid-19 completed on Tuesday, as many as 354 fresh cases and eight more deaths surfaced in last 24 hours taking the total to 4,421 while casualties to 117, with the government announcing three types of facilities to treat different levels of Covid patients.
As per the latest guidelines, the three type of facilities earmarked to treat Covid patients includes COVID Care Center (CCC) for mild or suspect cases, Dedicated COVID Health Centre (DCHC) for moderate cases while Dedicated COVID Hospital (DCH) for severe ones.
Importantly, a Group of Ministers (GoM), under the leadership of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, after taking the stock of the situation, recommended to the Union Government enhanced testing to arrest the spread of novel coronavirus as the number continuous to rise day-by-day.
