Seating arrangement changed in MP Assembly

Bhopal, Jul 18 (UNI) In the wake of recent reshuffle of the Council of Ministers that witnessed resignations of two elderly ministers, the first day of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly’s Monsoon session looked rather different than usual, due to its changed seating arrangement.
Senior member and former chief minister Babulal Gaur – who recently resigned as the state’s Home minister – was seen sitting at seat no-43 in the first row of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislators. Earlier, he was allotted seat no-2, which is next to the Chief Minister’s seat. His former place has now been allotted to Finance Minister Jayant Malaiya.
However, Mr Gaur was seen in his usual self wearing a cap and a saffron strip round his neck. Several ministers including Urban Development and Housing Minister Maya Singh and Tribal Welfare Minister Gyan Singh and other BJP members including Kailash Chawla and Yashpal Singh Sisodiya met the veteran leader. Several Congress members also came and met Mr Gaur.
